I’ve kinda left the bold brows to the Olives. I just didn’t think I could pull it off. But if you look at the runways, bold brows are sticking around for spring. Sooo, I’ve decided to embrace this trend. There is no better muse than Burberry model Cara Delevingne for an Ivory with a brow. She does bold brows to perfection. This is what I am currently using to achieve the look:
- Sonia Kashuk Spoolie ($1.99 Target)
- MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Fling
- Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow in 10 Light Blonde (See what Olive uses)
- Make Up For Ever Eyebrow Brush
- Eyebrow Diva Setting Gel
First, brush your brows with the spoolie, lightly outline the brow with the MAC Eyebrow Pencil, spoolie again, lightly squeeze a dab of Aqua Brow onto your hand and dip your eyebrow brush in, and fill in your brow. Gently use a a q-tip to clean up the edges and use the brow gel to set it in place. I’m actually loving this look. Aqua Brow is perfect for the summer because it is water-proof and humidity-proof.
What do you think of this trend? Love it or Leave it?

My brow lady always pencils me after a shaping. Last time, she handed me the pencil and said, “Take it. You need this.” At first, I felt like Frida Kahlo. But now, I think a more defined brow makes me look a bit more awake and helps the mascara out a bit.
I don’t think I can do it!
Love it! I had a friend growing up with super blonde hair and naturally darker eyebrows! I always loved them.
She looks great.
That’s affirmative! Threading, tinted & filled in when needed . . . the eye POP!
LOVE a tinted brow and feel totally washed out when they fade (when they do, I use Origins Just Browsing and/or Laura Mercier brow powder). Makes a big difference!
I don’t look good with bold brows. I keep them as thin and as light as possible without having Sharpie eye or looking like I’m browless!
Mine are growing out and it is a HARD process.
