Lately, I’ve had a lot of midnight callers. In my 20′s that might have meant something different (just kidding, Mom), but in my 30′s it means little people under 3 feet tall. The old proverb “the eyes are the window to the soul” should be changed to “the eyes are the window to how many times I got up last night with the littles”. There is no Benjamin Button going on under these eyes so a product that promises to diminish redness, soothe lines, and reduce puffiness needs to be in my arsenal. The fact that I can use it anywhere just adds to its awesomeness.
Le Métier de Beauté recently launched an Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo. Olive and I were excited to try out these portable little pouches. Placed under the eye to the top of the cheekbone, we left these little wonders on for 15 minutes. We were worried that they wouldn’t adhere unless we were laying down, but as Mom’s we are on the move. We wore them in the front yard, playing soccer with all the littles and these things stuck like glue. Now that would have been a funny video! We can fold our laundry, put it away, start dinner, settle an argument, empty the dishwasher, change a diaper, set the table, and make the coffee for the next day while hydrating our under eyes! Weirdly, we were doing everything for everyone else but put down our martyr hat because we were calm and cool and tingly. We started to think of all the places we could go while wearing these that would equal happiness. We decided to take some Hollywood-esqe liberties and put together how to use them on the go.
