Love it or Loathe it?

Jennifer Lopez stepped out in this Kaufman Franco dress for the premier of Parker, her latest film.

No doubt, the woman is a knockout. Her body is amazing. She’s 43 years old, for crying out loud. But something about this look is not working for me. Is the dress too long? It looks like she’s stepping on the hem. The contrast in skin and mesh panels almost looks like its creating a crease, making it look like a fat roll. But when I take a closer look, it’s not a roll. It’s just where skin meets mesh.

I love a white, low-back dress. It’s what I wore when I got married. Granted, I wore panties with mine.

I need your thoughts. I can’t decide if this is hot or a hot mess.

  1. I’m not a big fan of mesh colored anything. It reminds me of figure skating outfits. That being said, she was in Vegas. It does say Viva Las Vegas. For the love of country though, who is her dermatologist?? -Ivory

Definitely a hot mess. Mystified at the choice…

I loathe the look on her face. She can pull off that dress though.

The more I look at it, it’s awkward in the underarm area. I’d look like a whale though.

  6. Mess! 1. I think her makeup needs work–the dress is white and she needs more “pop” on her eyes, mouth or both. 2. I agree, the mesh color meeting the white at the seam does not do anything for the gown. 3. It does look like she is stepping on the seam. 4. How the hell did she get it on??? obviously no zipper, and if it does stretch, it looks really snug around her neck, and the front mesh looks like her breasts don’t fit in it well—IMO!

She needs a bigger size and a tanning session.

  9. She is stunning, however this is not her best look. Sadly, It appears, nobody was bold enough to share the fact that the answer to the question “does this dress make me look fat?” is a big FAT …YES!! Yes it does.

Hot mess. Dislike. I think she sometimes tries too hard. Less is more. Is that enough cliches?

Hot mess. I had to look twice to see that it was skin tone by her arm pits and not just skin folds. She’s looked a lot better

I don’t like it. At all. Makes her butt look long and flat and her armpits fat.

  13. I’m gonna loathe it. She’s been there and done that! We all
Know she’s sexy. What would be a “red carpet moment” is for J LO to take a smidgen of restraint and work some old Hollywood glam or just plain ole sophistication. There. My two cents:)!

I am a J-Lo fan, but she looks too harsh. Don’t love it…

Loathe it. It’s a terrible fit and I am tired of seeing her in this style of dress.

  16. Loathe everything about it. Her expression, makeup, hair, dress. The side photo makes it look like she’s wearing a stripperesque top with weird, ill-fitting white pants. Not s flattering look on anyone.

  17. Jackie, I thought they looked like pants too from the side angle.

  18. saddlebags!!!
